Little York Fire Department Santa Parade – Dec. 10th!

Santa Tours Are Coming to Heritage Village! 

Get ready—the magic of the season is rolling through our community December 10!

The Little York Fire Department Santa Tours bring holiday cheer to every corner of the district as Santa rides atop our festive float, escorted by fire trucks spreading lights, sirens (the fun kind!), and smiles.

 What to Expect:
 Santa waving from the LYFD float
 A parade of fire trucks
 Candy and Christmas cheer for all
 A festive tradition your family won’t want to miss

Bundle up, step outside, and help us welcome Santa as we celebrate the season together. We can’t wait to see you!

2025 Fall Cleanup Event Recap

Harris County MUD 217 would like to thank the residents of our community and all of those involved in making our Fall Cleanup Event an overwhelming success!

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

Texas Pride Disposal will not be collecting trash for HCMUD217 on the following holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 27
  • Christmas Day – Thursday, December 25
  • New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1

Collection services will resume on the following Monday.

This adjustment applies to trash collection only and does not include recycling.

The Board of Harris County MUD 217 will hold a regular meeting.

Construction Update – Blackridge Rd. & Swords Creek Rd.

The District’s contractor will return to the intersection of Blackridge and Swords Creek to begin street paving repairs/replacement from Oct. 10 – Oct. 18, with clean-up as necessary to follow.

There will be lane closures associated with this work.

Drivers and pedestrians in the area are asked to exercise caution and to expect delays.

National Night Out Event Recap

Harris County MUD 217 would like to thank the residents of our community and all of those involved in making our National Night Out Event a overwhelming success!

We had a great turn out this year with over 200 residents enjoying great food, cold drinks, and fun activities!

National Night Out Event – October 7th

Please join the Board of Harris County MUD 217 as we celebrate National Night Out!

When: Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Where: HCMUD217 Admin Building, 12248 T C Jester Blvd.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. We hope this event enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
